The name game for the Dem nomination in the northern congressional district has gone to the dogs. Reader Bridget Condon lets us in on the fun:

Today is a day that will go down in history 🇺🇸. At a news conference Cash Monster Avery announced his 2020 bid for the northern NM congressional seat. He says he has been inspired to seek office after feeling our community is trapped on a leash and needs to run free.

When asked if he feels there is corruption in Congress he said, “The water bowl has gotten dirty, and it’s time for a fresh drink.”

Vote for Cash—a doggone good candidate!

Cash Monster Avery? Where do they get these names?

No word yet on how much cash "Cash" has raised but he probably won't need much. This charismatic character could win this thing running. . .er. . .barking away.
